Miniature Shetland Pony

BPCZ Lowerres 02912

General Information

Shetland ponies are strong hardy animals and in the past were used for carrying peat, pulling carts or even down the mines as pit ponies, although today they are often kept as children’s riding ponies. In winter their thick, heavy coats keep them warm on the coldest of days. They are highly intelligent and usually good natured.
