Little Bookworms

Book Club for young story lovers at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo

Are you sitting comfortably? Let’s begin! At Battersea Park Children’s Zoo, we want to get children excited about reading with our brand new book club for young story lovers 'Little Bookworms'. Each month, lose yourself in an exciting tale as you listen to a story read out loud by the zoo team. From new releases, to family classics, there’s something for every little bookworm!

Stories for each session will be announced on our website and social media prior to each session.

Little bookworms story sessions are included as part of your zoo entry ticket or membership, and no extra ticket/pre-booking is required. Please note there is a maximum capacity for our zoo café, and if there are too many little bookworms in one session to fit, the session will be repeated as soon as the first session finishes.

And that’s not all! Each little bookworm will receive a loyalty card on their first session. At the end of each session, get your card stamped by your story teller. Once your card is filled up with 6 stamps, take it to the zoo shop to receive 50% off any children’s book of your choice.*
