The scariest thing about this Halloween would be missing out on the spooky fun at Battersea Park Children's Zoo during our half term Halloween event!
From mysterious minibeast encounters, games and crafts, to family-friendly Halloween storytime, there's something for ghosts and ghouls at our little London zoo's Not So Spooky half term Halloween celebration! Perfect for primary school children and younger.
Join us for our Daily Halloween Activities between 24th October - 1st November:
Minibeast Mansion
Roll up roll up and meet our zoo’s most mysterious residents – our invertebrates! Learn all about them and their fascinating lifestyles (and why they aren’t scary at all!)
Also… enjoy spooky-themed crafts and games including badge and keyring making.
Entry to the Minibeast Mansion in the cabin is free with some paid activities
11:00am - 1:00pm and 2:00pm - 4:00pm
(Not So) Spooky Storytime
Are you sitting comfortably? Then let’s begin a Halloween themed story all about the animals that live at the zoo… (But don’t worry – it’s not a scary story!) All the family are welcome.

Animal Keeper Talks and Feeding Times
We know you all love our amazing animals and this half term we have added some more cheeky characters to our daily keeper talks!
10:30am – Not so spooky story time
11am – Otters keeper talk
12pm – Lemurs keeper talk
1:30pm – Join us to feed the pigs!
1:45pm – Gruffalo Granny story time
2:30pm – Meerkats keeper talk
3:30pm – Capuchins keeper talk
4:00pm – Scottish wildcats keeper talk
They burn off energy, you relax!
While your children are safely burning off their energy in this stimulating environment, parents and grandparents can enjoy a well-deserved respite. Relax on our comfortable seating or at our picnic tables, perfectly positioned for you to keep a watchful eye on the little ones.
