There’s something strange in the air this October half term… Is it a ghost? Is it witch? No, it’s Battersea Park Children’s BOO!
Join Battersea Park Children's Zoo in London for a spooky celebration including stories, crafts and the chance to get to know some of the zoo’s most mysterious residents!
We’re also having a Halloween costume competition ALL WEEK! So make sure to come to the zoo all dressed up for your chance to win an animal encounter!
Join us for our engaging Halloween Activities:
The Witch’s Den Don't miss the chance to step inside the Witch’s Den! It's a hands-on experience with crafts, badge and keyring making, games, and of course, the must-try potion making! Find this magical haven in the Hive cabin (right next to the Emus and Kookaburras!).
- Entry to the Witch’s Den is free with some paid options inside
- 11:30am - 1:00pm and 2:00pm - 4:00pm
(Not so) Spooky Story Time! Our zoo guides LOVE telling stories! Get comfy and enjoy a captivating Halloween-themed story, perfect for the whole family. (Rest assured, it’s not a scary story!)

Mini-beast Meetings! Are you feeling brave? Don't pass up the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the zoo’s most mysterious animals! Learn all about why they aren’t so scary after all!

Costume Competition Show off your most impressive outfit - spooky or not! We’re giving away an incredible animal encounter to our favourite Halloween costume of the week. Zoo staff will be on the lookout for the best-dressed visitor… could it be you?
