African Bullfrog
African bullfrogs grow to be 20–26 cm long, with males being much larger than females. In a form of sexual dimorphism, males can weigh over 2 kg, while females are typically much smaller. They have broad, stocky bodies, large mouths, and powerful hind legs adapted for digging and short bursts of movement.
African bullfrogs are carnivorous and are opportunistic predators. They feed on a wide variety of prey, including insects, spiders, small reptiles, rodents, birds, and even other frogs. They use their strong jaws and sticky tongues to catch prey and are known for their aggressive feeding behaviour.
