Families looking for ways to entertain little ones this summer can enjoy animal adventures and a programme of activities at Battersea Park Children's Zoo

Running until 31st August and suitable for children up to primary school age. Activities are included with standard admission unless otherwise stated.

Wild Wednesdays return every Wednesday throughout August and a Wild Weekend will run over the August Bank Holiday. Young explorers can enjoy story sessions inspired by the zoo's animals, get creative with crafts (additional charge) and games, and join keeper-led activities designed to inspire children to connect with nature. Children can also take part in the Wild Trail (additional charge), collecting a badge along the way.

#ShareSavvy Saturday takes place on 1st August, encouraging families to learn how responsible social media use can help protect wildlife from exploitation.

Cotton-top Tamarin Day will be celebrated on 14th August, celebrating a day early than the official day, Battersea Park Children’s Zoo will be highlighting one of the world's most endangered primates through family-friendly activities and conservation-focused learning. Visitors can take part in primate themed crafts and games throughout the day, including badge and keyring making (some paid activities).

Alongside the summer programme, visitors can enjoy daily keeper talks, pig feeding sessions, adventure play areas including a life-sized fire engine, sand and water play, and the chance to see more than 100 animals in the heart of Battersea Park.
