Temporary Closure Statement Winter 2021

Temporary Closure Statement Winter 2021

Battersea Park Children’s Zoo must announce that from 4:30pm on Sunday 28th November 2021 the zoo will be closed to the public whilst we carry out vital maintenance and renewal works, reopening again on Friday 11th February 2022 at 10am.

Although this was a difficult decision for us to make, our aim is always for our zoo to provide the safest and most memorable experience for our visitors whilst discovering the amazing species living at the zoo and the conservation work being done to protect them.
We would like to thank all of our members and visitors for their continued support, particularly as we continue to carry out our important work after the challenges of the last two years. We are proud to provide a family-friendly experience where conservation and education are at the forefront of what we do, and the renewal works we carry out over this period will allow us to build on this further.
  • Please note; all keeper experiences booked over our closure period will still go ahead. If you’d like to book an experience whilst we are closed, we do have a limited number of slots available over the coming months, these can be booked through our website.
  • ALL memberships and adoptions will be extended for the period of which we are closed. Our team aims to contact all of our members, but regrettably may be unable to reach everyone. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
We can’t wait to welcome you back soon and for you all to enjoy the exciting changes and additions taking place over the next couple of months!
The BPCZ team 💚
